Team Bio:

John Njoes has been carving ice for the Winter Carnival since 2004. He enjoys the challenge that carving offers, and under normal circumstances loves to spend quality creative time with his carving team "1 Non-John". This year in the interest of safety, this team of 4 has decided to divide and conquer with multiple pieces, taking their cue from 'Speakerboxxx and The Love Below". This event has always been about the love of creating beauty in our coldest and darkest time of need, and this year is certainly no exception. I hope that all who are able to make it out to see these sculptures can bask in at least a little bit of spectacle and normalcy.
